How to reduce the dark circles under your eyes

Our lives consist of stress and lack of sleep, both of which not only leave us in a bad mood but also form those nasty black circles under our eyes. These horrid circles are a sign of poor health and are a sign that you need to make some simple changes to your day to day life style.  There are plenty of products on the market that promise to destroy those dark circles overnight, there are also some natural remedies to help you get back on track. If you’ve had a few too many late nights take a read of the below as these tips and tricks will help you recover and say goodbye to those black rings.

1. Try and drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day.
Although this is probably not the first time you have read about having to drink water, that clear fluid will not only help keep your skin hydrated but will also say goodbye to those dark circles. If you love your caffeine then drinking water is even more important as this helps keep toxins out of your cells making them healthy and vibrant once again. Getting your daily dose of water will also allow you to have healthier skin that looks glowing and radiant.

2. Make sure you're getting your vitamins
Your body and skin cells need vitamin B, Iron and Vitamin E in order to give you that healthy looking skin that you want.  You will notice the dark circles under your eyes disappear after just a few days with a good vitamin E boost.

3. Drink a daily glass of orange Juice.
Vitamin C plays a significant role in our skins health. If your diet is lacking vitamin c you are limiting your chances to that fresh glow each morning. Improve your diet with a vitamin-C infused drink or supplement. Even better if you are a fruit fan, add a few oranges or grapefruits to your daily fruit intake.

4. Reduce your salt intake.
Too much salt can lead to fluid-retention, which is normally the reason for the puffiness under your eyes. Whilst ensuring you are getting your recommended amount of water each day will help as it helps to flush the toxins out of your body, reducing your salt intake will also help dramatically. You'll notice a visible change in just a day.

Dark circles under the eyes are more visible on aging skin as this area becomes very delicate and thin. By ensuring your body gets enough water, has a healthy diet and gets enough exercise can help reduce the signs of aging naturally, this will not diminish all signs but it will be a good start.

How are eye wrinkles formed and how can we prevent them?

Some women suffer from wrinkles worse than others and some get them at earlier stages of their lives, however it is safe to say we all get them! Despite us all having them, we all want to hide them as we want to stay looking young and youthful for longer. This article not only talks about how wrinkles are developed but it also talks about how to prevent them once they are there.
So, why do we get wrinkles? Wrinkles are normally associated with aging. As we age, the cells in our skin become thin and they lose their elasticity. This is because of the collagen production in our skin cells decreasing which causes our skin to have elasticity in the first place. When there is lack of collagen in our bodies, our skin cells begin to split which delays repair and renewal of the skin. As we age, the fat cells under the outer layer of our skin, get smaller and lose their ability to fill out the gaps within the inner layers of our skin. Our outer fat cells make our skin appear supple so when they get smaller damage occurs in the inner layers. This causes our skin to sag and become dry and develop wrinkles.
The suns UV rays can also have a detrimental effect on our skin and cause us to develop wrinkles more quickly. Being unprotected from the suns UV rays can damage your skin as it is vulnerable to ultraviolet radiation. Sunlight causes the outer layer of the skin, which is the epidermis, to become thinner, and encourages the overproduction of melanin, which eventually leads to skin cancer. By spending long amounts of time in the direct sunlight with no sunscreen on can cause cause the collagen in our skin to break down more quickly which as we spoke about above has an affect on wrinkles forming.
The way wrinkles form is from something called “free radicals”. Free Radicals are unstable oxygen molecules in the body that lack an electron. The oxygen molecules we have in our skin cells require two electrons to work effectively, when only one is present the oxygen molecules find it difficult to break down the collagen in our skin cells and therefore skin elasticity is reduced. When our skin elasticity is reduced wrinkles will form. Free radicals develop in the skin through continued exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun, air pollution and cigarette smoking.
Although we may try and fight them, getting wrinkles is a natural thing and it will happen eventually, all we can do it try and prevent them! Many women (and some men) will get a facelift or other cosmetic surgery (which can cost a fortune) to try and hide those dreaded wrinkles and to try and make themselves look and feel younger for longer. For those of us that have not just won the lottery there is another solution.
We mentioned above how the collagen in our skins has an impact on our skins elasticity and the forming of wrinkles. Eye Secrets have developed a product called the Collagen and Q10 patch that works to increase your collagen levels and leaves your eyes and skin looking smoother and tighter.
Eye Secrets collagen and Q10 patch gets to work in just 15 minutes and reduces the appearance of under eye wrinkles, those nasty black circles under your eyes and the general puffiness of your skin. In addition to this It can reduce dry skin and leave your skin feeling smooth and tight once again!
In each package you will receive 5 applications (10 gel eye patches). The patches should be applied underneath your eyes for 15-20 minutes. Whilst they are placed on your face the patches get hard to work and intensely moisturise, nourish and hydrate your skin. This will restore elasticity and help your skin to look and feel rejuvenated, vibrant and smooth. The hydrating formula also helps relive puffiness and dark circles under the eye.

Is your diet speeding up your aging?

Believe it or not the foods we eat and the drinks we drink can have a detrimental effect on how quickly we age. Our bodies require a healthy balanced diet and if it doesn’t receive this it will start to show!
Our bodies require a healthy balance of fats. Along with supporting the brain, heart and immune functions, fat is essential for the maintenance of healthy cell membranes in our body cells. This membrane has the sole responsibility for transporting nutrients and removing waste in and out of body cells – a very important role!
An interesting fact is that all natural fat associated with food, including saturated fat from eggs and butter, cold press oils, fish oils, nuts, seeds and avocadoes are actually required to maintain a healthy body! However it is important that we eat enough of the “good fats” and not so much of the “bad fats.”
A hearty Breakfast
Make sure you start your day with a good old hearty breakfast! Eating a balanced breakfast is a big step towards making sure you are giving your body the food and nutrients it needs on a daily basis. You will also find that you have more energy throughout the day. With a healthy breakfast, you are less likely to overeat at other meal times.

Limit the “junk food”
As you age, your body finds it difficult to digest the vast amounts of sugar, alcohol, and processed foods that you regularly eat. Our enzyme production for digestion for junk food lacks as we age. The by products of this dilemma can cause aging ailments which you experience as arthritis, stomach problems, age spots on skin and damage to heart, lung, liver, and gall bladder. – Something you do not want to experience, so say goodbye to the “junk food” and hello to the “healthier food.”
Avoid “fad diets”
There is always some kind of fad diet that is in the news and is the diet that all of the celebrities are losing weight on. These diets are just a “fad”! In order to lose weight and remain looking young and healthy you need to make sure you have a well balanced diet. Get the facts about how to make healthy eating choices, and as you age and eat more of these types of foods opposed to what all of the “celebrities are eating.”

Vitamins and minerals
Ensuring your body gets the correct vitamins and minerals on a daily basis is critical to ensuring you keep your youthful appearance. Energy-giving substances are carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Eating a variety of these types of food will give you all the energy and vitamins you need to stay healthy. Make sure you are getting the required A, B, C, and D vitamins from food, if you are not maybe think about taking a supplement.
When it comes to aging you want to ensure you are getting plenty of vitamin B to help you to produce the collagen your skin cells need to retain their elasticity. If you lack this why not try using an anti-aging product that gives you this supplement? Eye Secrets collagen and Q10 patches target those puffy, wrinkly skins and works hard to reduce the under-eye bags you might have. The product leaves your skin feeling refreshed, smoother, and tighter and will all in all leaving you feeling younger!
